About Spice and Roses

Welcome to Spice and Roses, my platform for original poetry, romance, romantasy, and erotic fiction! You may know me from either my AO3, Cara, or Tumblr. I'm Loe, and I'm an aspiring author and amateur artist who's obsessed with Arctic animals (plus penguins), a nerd for shoujo manga, and an Olivia Rodrigo superfan.

About My Writing

As mentioned, I like writing poetry, romance, romantasy, and the occasional (but not so occasional here ;)) erotica. My goal here is to share writing that is meaningful and evokes the thrill of being swept away by a grand romance, or poetry that encapsulates particularly emotional experiences in my life. I'm making a number of my original works of fiction available for free, but I also invite you to sign up as a member. By doing so, you'll gain access to the full archive of everything I've published before, as well as get the latest updates to my stories delivered right to your inbox.

If you're still curious about my writing, I've also written lots of fanfic on my AO3. All of my works are available for free (you'll need an account for viewing them though as I've protected most of my works) and mostly encompass random manga that I have been into at the moment. I still publish stories there sometimes, so feel free to check them out if they happen to be in a fandom you're in.

About My Art

I am a super amateur artist, so I am usually shy with sharing what I've drawn. Nevertheless, I'm trying to improve, and you can see the works that I have shared on my Cara or Tumblr (@loeloelaa, you will need to follow request me). I mostly work with watercolor and marker. I don't have any digital drawing capabilities, sadly. Maybe someday!

At the moment, I'm mostly using Pexels.com to find free stock photos to provide images for this site. All credits reserved to the photographers, and I try to make sure I properly credit the person who took the photo. Please support stock photographers! They do amazing work for folks like us on the internet.
